I'll overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's bout.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
